Our Mission

The mission of LCM Youth and Young Adult Ministry (LCM-YAY) is to Connect, Equip, and Serve young people so that their lives may be transformed in Christ.

Connect – Build strong relationships with God and with one another.
Edify – Nurture and develop young people through a holistic and balanced approach.
Serve – Prepare and empower them to serve the Church and the world.

This mission is carried out through Camps, Exposure, Training, and Media, with the goal of raising Christ-centred young people, leaders, and future pastors who will impact the Church and the world.

Camp

There are two camps held annually. The Next Station Camp (ages 17–24, held annually) guides young people to discover their personal identity and future direction, encourages them to become channels of blessing, and teaches them to serve and grow together as one body in Christ. The Young Adult Retreat (ages 21–35, held biennially) strengthens bonds among young adults, deepens their faith in relation to church, workplace, and society, and nurtures strong Christian leadership.

Training

LCM-YAY equips young people and youth leaders with essential ministry skills.

• Evangelism & Gospel sharing
• Programme planning
• Bible study
• Team building
• Leadership development
• Worship ministry

Training also creates space for leaders to connect, collaborate, and grow in partnership.

Media

Social media is a crucial component to engage today’s generation.

• Stay connected with young people
• Share updates, testimonies & resources
• Encourage creativity for God’s Kingdom

Young people with creative talents are nurtured to use media meaningfully for evangelism and discipleship.

Exposure

Opportunities for young people to have exposure and to serve through local and overseas voluntary programs, study tours, mission trips etc.

Current Opportunities:
• Germany voluntary programme (1 year)
• United States voluntary programme (3 months)
