Lutheran Mobile Clinic: Bringing Healing Where It’s Needed Most

Our Vision

To reach out and serve the community, especially the poor and underserved, through compassionate healthcare.

Our Mission

1. Delivering Care Where It’s Needed Most
To provide medical and health services to small villages and rural settlements, building trust and connection within their communities.

2. Empowering Through Education
To teach personal healthcare and hygiene practices, particularly among the Orang Asli villages, helping communities take proactive steps toward better health.

3. Promoting Preventive Health
To offer free health screenings, basic medical consultations, and health awareness talks — playing an active role in community health education.

4. Saving Lives Through Giving
To organize blood donation campaigns, enabling the wider community to participate in life-saving efforts.

The Lutheran Mobile Clinic is a charitable organization dedicated to delivering free healthcare services to communities in Ipoh and the Upper Perak regions. Established on 7th July 2007, the clinic operates under a license from the Ministry of Health, and serves as a bridge between medical care and those who would otherwise go without.

Operating on a part-time, volunteer-driven model, the clinic works hand in hand with doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals from both government hospitals and private practices. Together, they form a compassionate network of caregivers who share a common goal — to bring healing, comfort, and dignity to the underserved.

Taking Healthcare Beyond Walls

At the heart of our mission is the belief that healthcare is a basic human right, not a privilege reserved for the few. We strive to make quality medical services accessible to all, especially those living in poverty or in areas with limited healthcare infrastructure.

Our mobile clinic travels to remote villages across the Upper Perak region, ensuring that even those in the most isolated communities receive medical attention. Over the years, our reach has expanded to include the Orang Asli communities in Tapah, Bidor, Cameron Highlands, and Pengkalan Hulu, as well as elderly care homes and orphanages in surrounding areas.

In each visit, our volunteers not only provide physical care but also bring encouragement and hope — embodying the love and compassion of Christ through acts of service.

A Ministry of Compassion in Motion

The Lutheran Mobile Clinic continues to be a beacon of hope for those who have little access to medical facilities. Every journey, every consultation, and every smile shared is a testament to God’s healing grace in action.

Through the dedication of volunteers and the generosity of supporters, we continue to bring light, care, and compassion to the forgotten corners of society — one community, one life, one journey at a time.
